My name is Adam Jones. I am the owner of Salty Scuba.
I’ve been diving for over 20 years. My passion for the underwater world began in 2003, when I earned my Basic Open Water certification while living and working in Vanuatu in the South Pacific as a Peace Corps Volunteer. That’s where I fell in love with reef and wreck diving, especially exploring the historic USS President Coolidge. I spent years there as a teacher and divemaster, logging hundreds of dives.
In recent years, I’ve continued my professional development earning certifications as a Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor in the chilly waters of coastal New Jersey and New Hampshire. I am certified to train and certify divers through both NAUI and SDI, and I bring that dual-agency expertise to every course I teach.
Outside of Salty Scuba, I serve as a firefighter with a New Hampshire Fire Department, where I lead training for our Dive Team. I’m currently advancing my professional credentials with ERDI to specialize in emergency response diving and instruction.
My twin sons are Advanced Open Water divers. And my daughter is a fish in the water!
